Business goals
Make it easier for wineries to enter the competition. Marc at Riverside was convinced that a user-friendly application would translate into more entries— and more entry fees. But equally important, improve the process of matching the online entries with the thousands of real world wine bottles that create a logistical challenge.

User objectives
Wineries use the application to enter the competition or check on the status of their entry. They submit the registration form and then they enter as many wines as they'd like. Because the competition requires specific information about each bottle, the process can be time-consuming. So everyone wants it to be efficient.

Our approach
We worked closely with Marc Berger, Riverside's CTO, to rethink the old process. Make it simpler. Allow wineries to create accounts, submit and pay for their entries in a seamless process. Take the data and get it to the right people in a way that makes sense to them.

The application is designed to:

Results
An 18% increase in the number of wines submitted (compared to the prior year).
